Description
Terpenes are natural substances occurring in plants, which are usually responsible for their characteristic aromas.
For example, the pleasant scent of many plants and flowers is due to their high content of linalool, menthol is responsible for the characteristic aroma of mint and limes and citral are found in citrus peels.
Since essential oils are extracts of plants, most terpenes contain terpenes that are found mainly in cannabis.
Our terpene mixtures are just that, terpenes!
They may include, but are not limited to, limes, myrcene, caryophyllene, linalool, pinene and terpineol, some of the most important cannabis terpenes.
Our terpene mixtures are not derived from cannabis or hemp, but are adapted to the taste profiles of certain cannabis varieties, which means they are naturally THC-free and legal all over the world.
Our team of experts analyse the complete aromatic terpene profile of beloved cannabis varieties, then reproduce them faithfully with the highest quality raw materials – not cannabis. We hand selected ingredients for their most distinctive properties before incorporating them into the delicious cannabis flavours that the world knows and loves.
Our terpene mixtures contain pure terpenes, i.e. they do not contain PG, VG or other fillers. They are concentrated liquids, so do not drink or apply directly to the skin. As a rule, they should never be used in concentrations higher than 3%.
Terpenes have similar properties to essential oils. As you can imagine, they are used in the same way. We offer some suggestions, but our terpene blends are a DIY product. Play with them however it suits you best. Remember that terpene blends are concentrated liquids, so you need to dilute them before use!
New uses for terpene blends are still being discovered, but one of the most common uses is to enhance the taste of products. Here are some of our recommendations:
● In extracts: Add only one drop per gram of extract. Heat the extract lightly and mix.
● In E-Liquids: When using a standard 10 ml bottle, we recommend adding 0.1 to 0.3 ml of your terpene mixture.
● To fill your hemp or cannabis buds with your preferred terpene profile, you will need a glass and a paper towel. For best results, do not apply terpene directly to your buds. Just put a few drops on the towel, put your buds and towel in the glass and let it rest for at least 24 hours.
● In liquids: Terpenes are not soluble in water, but mix well with oil and some alcohols. Add one drop per millilitre of liquid and mix well before use.
Our general guideline is never to exceed 3% terpenes. To reach 3%, simply use 10 drops of terpenes per 10 grams of oil or extract.
Never steam or dab undiluted terpene mixtures!
Yes, you can dilute our terpene blends and use them for an improved aroma in vape products. Make sure you use our dilution guidelines and do not exceed 3% terpenes.
Get the most out of your terpenes by storing them in a cool, dry place without direct sunlight.
Enjoy terpene blends in diluted form and remember that use in concentrations greater than 3% is not recommended! Use diluted terpene blends to flavor e-liquids, liquefy extracts, season your flowers and dilute them in oil and some alcohols for your DIY applications.
Do not drink or apply directly to the skin.
